Products and Services. Chemistry of Medicinal Compounds

The Modified Antibiotics Department 1 and the Modified Antibiotics Department 2 provide services in the field of the chemistry of medicinal compounds.

Examinations carried out by the Modified Antibiotics Department 1 include:

• Development of the technology of active substances in laboratory scale.
  
• Evaluation of synthesis suitability for technological purposes.
  
• Development and execution of organic compound synthesis in laboratory and macro-laboratory scale.
  
• Development of organic compound purification methods, in particular for medicinal substances.
  
• Synthesis and evaluation of medicinal compound properties.
  
• Modifications to already known technologies.
  
• Development of the drug form technology in laboratory scale.

 

It is possible to obtain all substances in the form of sterile preparations. Research works are executed in line with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).

The examinations carried out by the Modified Antibiotics Department 2 include:

• Development of methods for the manufacture and purification of biologically active compounds (antibiotics and proteins) and synthetic semi-finished products.
• Development of pharmaceutical formulations of medicinal substances.
• Literature analysis concerning manufacturing, properties and application of biologically active compounds.
